This Green Tea Smoothie is a vehicle for green tea’s antioxidants, but also anti-inflammatory omega 3 fats from flax and hemp seeds and phytonutrients from fresh greens.
Ingredients
¾cupcooled green tea
1frozen banana
¼cupfresh or frozen pineapple or mango
1packed cup baby spinach
1tablespoonwell-stirred almond butter
1tablespoonground flaxseed
1tablespoonhemp seeds
¼teaspooncinnamon
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a blender in the order listed. Blend until smooth, adding more green tea if needed to achieve a thinner consistency.
